What the heck shoes do I wear with this sweater maxi dress?!! Link!
Options!
1. Flats would seem like the sensible choice but there are a couple of reasons why I haven't paired these two up: It's freezing in NYC. I have a fear of frost bitten toes. Ok, the reasons are all based on the temperature!
2. Boots. Are mid-calf or knee-high boots sort of ridiculous with this kind of dress? From what I remember, the advertisement for this dress featured a girl in boots. I tried the dress on with my Frye Melissa boot - but I couldn't help but feel rather bulky.
3. Flats with tights. I don't know if I fully support this look. I love wearing flats and tights with shorter skirts... but, flats, tights and a long maxi? Seems a little excessive.
HELP!

I agree with the post above. I think some black wedge booties would be perfect. I just got some today from Bakers--they were on sale and I'm in love with them!
